As a consultant, Gopal creates a collaborative partnership with his clients to understand the unique requirements within their business. He creates viable and practical plans to realise their goals and brings in key stakeholders in order to foster their ownership and buy-in. Gopal has a strong interest in developing people and coaches clients and their employees in how to embrace new systems and ways of working in order to be effective.

Experience
Gopal started his career as a accountant in the private sector and later entered the development sector when he joined Oxfam. He assumed several strategic management positions, including Head of International Finance for Oxfam GB and Vice President at Oxfam America before becoming the CEO of Responding to Conflict.
Over the last ten years, Gopal has built a strong reputation as an organisational development consultant and has delivered many strategic programmes including:
- Setting up of operational headquarters in India for global charities. Gopal worked with management and operational employees to develop sustainable business and financial models, account for local legislative requirements, and leverage donor funding.
- Leading an organisation in South Sudan during a time of regional conflict and internal transition, developing strategies for long-term survival.
Qualifications
Gopal has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, a certificate in International Development, a qualification in Chartered Accountancy, and a Masters in Business Administration.
